This week we’re setting aside a bit of time to talk about two of the highest profiled and best reviewed games of the year so far: Horizon: Zero Dawn and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

First up, naturally, is Horizon: Zero Dawn. We talk about the surprising Mass Effect influences on the game, the small things holding the game back from classic status, and the balls out excitement of taking down robot dinosaurs with hyper-charged stone age weapons.

After that we move on to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Does this incredibly well-reviewed game deliver the goods? Short answer: yes. The Switch’s flagship title is truly a sight to behold, and it reinvents one of Nintendo’s key franchises in dozens of new and exciting ways. For a breakdown of what makes the game so fantastic, tune on in!
