‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Trailer Will Definitely Leave People Wanting More

As promised, Rockstar released the debut trailer to its much anticipated sequel, Red Dead Redemption 2. The trailer doesn’t show a lot, but it’s definitely gorgeous. The trailer shows Rockstar’s signature ability to create a grand open world for their sandbox games. This time in the American Wild West full of beautiful forests, rivers, and plains full of buffalo.

Of course there are cowboys.

After a couple of days of teasing images, Rockstar finally announced earlier this week that Red Dead Redemption 2 would be released next fall for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There is still no mention of a PC release, but it’s still a possibility in the future. It’s also unclear if this new entry will be on the newly-announced console Nintendo Switch in the future. Although that is probably unlikely.

Similar to their website, Rockstar’s description of the video states: “Developed by the creators of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland. The game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience.”

It is not the greatest trailer, but at least it’s something. This will definitely leave people wanting more, which will only increase the hype for this game. Rockstar’s history of making great games won’t leave anyone doubting that this game won’t be great.
