A few missteps aside, Destiny 2 truly built and improved upon what came before.
For any title, getting a sequel is a chance for the development team to look at the original, work out the flaws, and then iron them out in a fresh product that shines above the first.
This week the Game Boys are joined by the friendly faces of Cuphead and Mugman. Well, not literally, but the long awaited, run-n-gun, boss battle beat-em-up, Cuphead, is finally out. On top of that, the SNES Classic also came out. Did the Game Boys manage to get their hands on them? What was the experience of trying to get one like compared to the NES Classic? In most regards, 'Destiny 2' is a marked improvement over its predecessor. A clear and engaging campaign, immense balancing, gorgeous visuals and cinematics, more activities than ever before, one of the best, most dynamic game soundtracks I've heard in while, and much more ensure 'Destiny 2' will see as much play as its predecessor if not more.
'Destiny2' has the makings of a sensational sequel. However, if Bungie really want players to have their cake and eat it too, here are some flavors of change they should really consider.
